About Nik Outchcunis
My name is Nik Outchcunis (ooch-koo-nis). I'm 37 years old, I live in Bourne with my wife and two boys and I currently work in the Technology department for Bourne Public Schools.
I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2002 with a degree in Communication, but my true passion has always been computers. I took a number of computer classes in college and later went on to work for Maven Networks, an exciting startup company in Cambridge, MA, which was later acquired by Yahoo!.
Over the years, I have experimented with LOTS of different hardware and software and managed to teach myself all about computers from the ground up. I have always been the "computer guy" for all of my friends and family, and I finally decided to start my own small business.
I am a CompTIA A+ Certified Technician. Click the image on the lower right to read more about what that means.
I'm a Mac person at heart (with a passion for Linux), but my job revolves mainly around troubleshooting and fixing Windows PC's, so I'm very familiar with the many technical issues that plague them. I've pretty much seen it all.
I love computers and I know how frustrating they can be. I also know that honest, affordable help is nearly impossible to find these days. So if you need your computer looked at or could use some buying advice, please contact me and I'll get right back to you. I look forward to hearing from you.
